On the seafront of Biscarrosse-Plage, an iconic local entertainment venue is undergoing a profound transformation. Recently taken over by two seasoned professionals in the sector, the Biscarrosse Casino is embarking on a veritable revolution.
A strategic takeover led by two figures from the entertainment world
The revival of the Biscarrosse Casino bears the signature of Benjamin Frischer and Patrick Delahaye. The two partners officially took over the rights to the establishment on 1 November 2025. They are no novices: already owners of the Hendaye Casino, they have solid experience in managing nightclubs and entertainment venues.
‘Our DNA is entertainment, innovation and conviviality,’ says Benjamin Frischer, now CEO of the casino.
This statement sets the tone for a project designed as a space for living, meeting people and enjoying experiences, far beyond simply offering games.
The duo did not stop at a change in governance. As soon as they took over, work began with the full mobilisation of the existing teams. The aim was to rethink the casino as a whole, both aesthetically and functionally.
In total, more than €900,000 will be invested over three years. This substantial budget is intended to revitalise, modernise and beautify all areas. The games room is the first showcase for this transformation. It now boasts a glamorous, contemporary aesthetic, designed to appeal to a diverse clientele, both local and tourist.
A modernised, technology-focused gaming room
The new layout of the gaming room reflects the desire to move upmarket. Eighteen high-tech slot machines have been installed, along with a latest-generation electronic roulette wheel. This is a strategic choice, aimed at combining performance, attractiveness and gaming comfort.
But the modernisation is not limited to the equipment. The casino boasts a 95% payout rate, which is presented as the highest in the region. This is a compelling argument in a sector where transparency and customer loyalty have become key issues.
The Club card plays a central role in the commercial strategy. It allows players to accumulate points with each game, which can be converted into gaming tickets or restaurant meals. The benefits don’t stop there: invitations, personalised offers and targeted privileges are also available.
Upcoming major projects
The transformation does not stop at the gaming room. From January 2026, the casino restaurant will also undergo a facelift. The future décor, described as warm and bright, is already the subject of a cleverly orchestrated teaser campaign by the designers.
The night bar will be one of the highlights of this new offering. It will be open until 5 a.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, reinforcing the casino’s position as a must-visit nightspot in Biscarrosse-Plage.
Another new feature announced is the creation of a poker room upstairs. This project is dear to Benjamin Frischer and Patrick Delahaye, who want to diversify the casino’s activities and attract a new clientele.
Clear and ambitious targets
The new managers’ ambitions are clear. In Biscarrosse, they are aiming for 10,000 visitors per year and a 20% increase in attendance over five years.
This projection is based on their experience in Hendaye, where turnover increased by 24% in 2025.
A festive opening night
The public was able to discover the casino’s new look during the opening night held on Saturday 13 December. Many visitors turned up, curious to see what had changed behind the doors of the building.
The modern design and playful, festive atmosphere left a lasting impression. For many, this evening gave a taste of what the casino hopes to become: a place where people come as much to play as to share a convivial moment.
