The Belgian Gaming Commission (GC) took new decisions on 15 October 2026 concerning six gambling websites considered illegal in Belgium. The addresses concerned include kalshi.com, pro.kalshi.com and several online betting platforms.

The list of gambling sites deemed illegal in Belgium has been expanded to include a new set of addresses. Thirty-one sites were subject to a decision by the Gaming Commission on 28 September 2026, bringing the total number of sites on the list to 1,016.

Record number of Belgians voluntarily exclude themselves from gambling

A record 66,998 people were registered in EPIS at their own request at the end of 2025. Over the course of one year, the number of voluntarily excluded players increased by a net 10,540. People in their twenties and thirties in particular are taking steps to protect themselves from gambling.

GC takes action: Meta removes thousands of illegal gambling adverts

More than 8,500 adverts from illegal gambling operators were reported to Meta in 2025 with a request to have them removed. The campaigns appeared on Facebook and Instagram and regularly misused the names and logos of licensed Belgian casinos.
