Namur buzzing for the Circus Poker Series: the full programme

Namur is once again the epicentre of European poker with the third edition of the Circus Poker Series (CPS), now an unmissable event combining intense competition, a variety of formats and ambitious media coverage. Between the return of the highly coveted Main Event, the enthusiasm of international delegations and a film dedicated to champion Romain Ledantec, the 2025 edition promises to be the richest and most immersive ever produced.

Namur, the centre stage of European poker

For several seasons now, Namur has established itself as a must-visit destination for players looking to experience authentic, fast-paced and demanding live poker. The modern architecture of the Circus Casino Resort, perched above the Meuse River, gives the festival a unique atmosphere. The city, located near Brussels, Liège and Charleroi, attracts a diverse mix of players: motivated amateurs, seasoned grinders and international regulars.

Structured tournaments, high stakes

For 2025, the CPS is promoting variety as the backbone of its programme. Thirteen days of successive events set a fast pace, almost cinematic in nature. Each tournament brings a different tone, a gradual build-up to the festival’s climax.

The €2,200 Main Event is once again the centrepiece. With a €750,000 guarantee, it brings together the highest ambitions and the most unexpected stories. Its launch on 25 November raises a question that is already preoccupying the community: who will succeed Romain Ledantec, winner in 2024 and recipient of €185,000?

Before the Main Event, the €550 CPS Cup will pave the way from 19 to 24 November. It often provides an initial insight into the field and serves as a barometer of the forces at play.

From 23 to 26 November, the €1,100 Mystery Bounty will offer a level of tension unique to this format. With €300,000 guaranteed, players will have to deal with the uncertainty of bounties, sudden reversals and the constant excitement of each elimination.

The €4,000 High Roller, scheduled for 25 and 26 November, will occupy a strategic position. It will bring together the most aggressive players, often in search of a prestigious title.

Finally, a €1,100 Second Chance event on 28 and 29 November will allow players to prolong the adventure, or even rewrite a story that ended too soon.

In addition, there will be daily satellites and a cash game room open from morning until late at night. These parallel spaces offer a different but equally strategic break, inviting players to adjust their style, test their dynamism or simply experience the festival from a different angle.

Extensive media coverage

For this edition, coverage will begin on 24 November. Followed in near real time, the Main Event will become a collective narrative, with each day adding its own twists and turns. Final tables, hand analyses, impromptu portraits… spectators will be able to follow the adventure without missing a thing.

The coverage reflects a clear desire to make the CPS an accessible spectacle beyond the walls of the casino, a narrative arena as much as a playing field.

A film as a memento of an achievement

A highlight of the 2025 edition will be the release of the film Itinéraire d’un Romain gâté. Directed by Will Lion, the documentary recounts Romain Ledantec’s victory at the 2024 CPS.

The founding image of this project dates back to the final table: a sports camera placed in front of the player captured every glance, every breath, every hesitation. It offers a unique, almost intimate perspective on the decisive hours that shaped his triumph.

The final edit combines these shots of the player with testimonials from friends, competitors and poker professionals. We discover an analytical Ledantec, patient and precise in his readings, reminding us that poker remains a game of anticipation and emotional control.

Beyond the portrait, the film highlights the growing maturity of the French and French-speaking live poker scene. It also celebrates the DNA of the CPS: offering tournaments that generate powerful stories, memorable trajectories and moments of pure sporting drama.

With its monumental Main Event, explosive Mystery Bounty, varied formats, enhanced coverage and a film dedicated to Romain Ledantec, the Circus Poker Series Namur 2025 is establishing itself as one of the major events in European poker. This edition promises intensity, emotion and moments of suspense with every card turned over.
