On 8 May 2025, Stake, one of the world’s leading online casino companies, announced the launch of Stake Engine, a platform designed to transform the iGaming game development landscape. The initiative aims to provide developers, both independent and from established studios, with the tools they need to quickly create, test and deploy their games on the Stake platform.
Stake Engine stands out for its ability to manage more than 300 billion bets and serve a community of more than 20 million players. Thanks to a robust infrastructure and integrated tools such as a front-end SDK, a mathematical engine and balancing tools, developers can design games tailored to user preferences while benefiting from increased creative flexibility.
An attractive business model
Stake Engine offers a transparent and advantageous business model for developers. Developers receive 10% of the gross revenue generated by their games, paid monthly with no hidden costs. This incentive-based approach encourages the creation of high-quality content and promotes close collaboration between Stake and game developers.
Brais Pena, Chief Strategy Officer at Easygo, the technology company behind Stake, comments:
“Stake Engine is built for creators, with speed, freedom, and scale baked in. Stake Engine is more than just infrastructure, it’s a launchpad for the next generation of iGaming creators.”
Powerful tools for rapid integration
The Stake Engine platform is designed to break down the traditional barriers of game development. It allows developers to test and launch their games in minutes with instant deployment capabilities. In addition, real-time performance data is available, providing valuable insights into player engagement and market trends.
This simplified approach allows developers to focus on creating innovative games without worrying about technical complexities or long lead times. The platform supports a multitude of game formats, from traditional slot machines to more complex games, offering creators maximum flexibility.
Synergy with the Kick streaming platform
Stake Engine is part of Stake’s wider strategy to integrate different facets of online entertainment. The Kick streaming platform, co-founded by Stake founders Bijan Tehrani and Ed Craven, offers content creators a 95% revenue share and more flexible content restrictions. This synergy between Stake Engine and Kick creates an ecosystem where developers can not only create and monetise their games, but also promote them effectively to a wide audience.
A promising future for game developers
With Stake Engine, Stake is demonstrating its commitment to innovation and support for game creators. By providing a robust platform, powerful tools and an attractive business model, Stake offers developers the means to turn their ideas into reality and present them to a global audience.
A global success… but still banned in Belgium
Despite the launch of Stake Engine and its rapid expansion on the global market, Stake remains banned in Belgium. The online casino, which attracts millions of users worldwide thanks to its fluid interface, media partnerships and exclusive games, still operates without a licence issued by the Belgian Gaming Commission.
This lack of local regulation makes Stake illegal in Belgium, where only operators licensed by the authorities can offer online gambling. The Belgian Commission, known for its strict approach to player protection, continues to include Stake on its blacklist of banned sites.
