UGent professor Constandt receives top award for sports research

Bram Constandt, professor of sports management at Ghent University, has received the NASSM Research Fellow Award. He shared the news via LinkedIn.

‘I am extremely delighted and proud to be the recipient of a NASSM Research Fellow Award,’ said Constandt. 

The award was presented by the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM) at their annual conference in San Diego.

The award rewards researchers who excel in sports science. These are people who contribute a lot with new insights and good research.

Constandt thanks his team for their support

Constandt feels honoured to be the first Belgian researcher to receive the award. He calls it recognition for his work and that of his team.
