Pêcheur de Lune, supported by Golden Palace
Every year-end, some children in Belgium experience the Christmas period as a time of vulnerability, lack and isolation. For them, one gesture can change everything. With this in mind, Golden Palace Group is renewing, for the third year running, its commitment to the Les Étoiles Radio Contact charity operation, in aid of the ASBL Pêcheur de Lune.
A heartfelt and long-term operation
For the past three years, Golden Palace Group has joined forces with RTL Belgium, Radio Contact and the ASBL Pêcheur de Lune to support the Les Étoiles Radio Contact operation. The campaign is led each year by David Antoine, the iconic host of 15/19 on Radio Contact and a familiar face on RTL Belgium channels.
The principle is simple but powerful: decorative stars are put on sale for €5, to be hung on Christmas trees. Each star purchased becomes a concrete gesture of solidarity. All the money raised goes to the Pêcheur de Lune charity.
This commitment enables us to provide direct support, without any unnecessary intermediaries, to children in care, in hospital or living in difficult family situations. In the partner establishments, the aim is not just to improve their daily lives, but to offer them a moment of respite, a moment of sweetness, a present under the Christmas tree and above all a precious feeling: that of not being forgotten.
A commitment that reflects family values
Golden Palace Group is no stranger to community projects. From its very beginnings, the Group, which grew out of a family business, has embraced the values of mutual aid, proximity and social responsibility. Supporting the ASBL Pêcheur de Lune is therefore an obvious choice.
It’s not just a financial gesture, but a symbolic commitment. By getting involved in this campaign, you are affirming a community-oriented approach to business, where economic activity and solidarity move forward together.
Mobilisation throughout the French-speaking world
Once again this year, Golden Palace Group is acting as main partner and reseller of the stars. The stars are available :
- In 24 Golden Palace casinos in Wallonia and Brussels,
- At the La Table de la Comédie restaurant, located in the Golden Palace Comédie Centrale in Charleroi,
- And even from group employees.
The stated aim was to sell at least 1,000 stars. An ambitious figure, but one that has been achieved in previous editions thanks to the involvement of customers, employees and local partners.
In a world where inequalities are sometimes glaring, concrete actions deserve to be saluted and encouraged. Golden Palace Group, Radio Contact and ASBL Pêcheur de Lune are showing that it is possible, together, to light up the stars where the night seems too long.
