Who won €3.5 million in the Lotto?

A Lotto ticket that won €3.5 million in the 14 June draw is still missing. The National Lottery is urgently appealing to the owner to come forward before the deadline for claiming the prize, set for 1 November 2025. Who will be the lucky winner?

Ticket still missing

The suspense remains in Belgium. On Wednesday 24 September 2025, the National Lottery announced that the owner of a Lotto ticket worth €3.5 million has still not come forward. This exceptional ticket, validated in the Waes region between Ghent and Antwerp, won the jackpot in the draw on 14 June.

How can such a win remain unclaimed more than three months after the draw? The question is puzzling both players and the National Lottery authorities. According to Belga, to date, no one has yet approached the institution to check their ticket or claim the astronomical sum.

To enable the owner to identify their ticket, the National Lottery announced the winning combination: 4, 8, 10, 19, 22, 23. These six numbers were enough to win the €3.5 million jackpot that day. The Lottery also shared the first 14 digits of the winning ticket’s serial number: 12243-037327147-XXXXXX. This is to help the ticket holder confirm the authenticity of their win before the deadline.

The deadline is approaching

Time is running out for the lucky winner. The jackpot must be claimed before 1 November 2025. After this deadline, the National Lottery will reclaim the prize, as stipulated in its rules. This situation raises the question: how many players lose their winnings simply through forgetfulness or negligence?

The Lottery authorities point out that this type of situation is not uncommon. Every year, several jackpots remain unclaimed, often because the tickets are lost or the winners do not realise they have won.

The saga of the missing ticket reminds us that behind every game of chance, there are lives that could be turned upside down by a stroke of luck. But luck, it seems, also requires a minimum of vigilance to materialise.
