The GC updates its blacklist of illegal sites
The Gaming Commission (GC) has updated its official list of illegal gambling sites with 28 new entries.
A mission to protect
The GC has carried out a further update of its official list of illegal gambling sites accessible from Belgium. It lists sites offering gambling without a Belgian licence, a requirement that is mandatory for operating legally.
The online gambling market is particularly difficult to regulate. Illegal operators regularly change their domain names, duplicate their sites or migrate to new platforms to evade checks. This is why the Commission updates its list on an ongoing basis.

Illegal gambling: what are the real risks?
The GC is clear: gambling on an illegal site exposes you to significant financial penalties. Fines can range from €26 to €25,000 for players, depending on the circumstances.
Beyond the penalties, there is no legal framework to protect users. In the event of a dispute, there is no recourse. Without regulation, games may be rigged. Financial transactions are not guaranteed. Personal data may be misused.
