EuroMillions 2024: How did Belgian winners score compared to Europe?

Reading time: 2 minutes On 31 December 2024, the EuroMillions results were announced. Unfortunately, there was no winner in Belgium or Europe who managed to win the full jackpot of €29.000.000.
However, there were some notable prizes, including Belgian winners.
Big prizes in Belgium: Success stories despite missing jackpot
Although the biggest prize was not won, there were two winners in Belgium in the “5+0” category. These players won €15.984 each. In addition, there were five winners in Belgium in the “4+2” category, each with a prize of €1.711,40.
This shows that Belgian players, despite being a small country, are well represented in the higher prize categories.
How does Belgium compare to other countries?
In the whole continent of Europe, there were only four winners in the “5+1” category, each with a prize of €188.075,10. Belgium had no winners in this category. In the “4+2” category, Belgium had five of the 32 European winners, a remarkable achievement.
Belgium was also strongly represented in lower prize categories such as “2+2” and “3+1”, with thousands of winners in these categories.
