The illegal casinos SPINGRANNY and BONUS KONG are trapping Belgian players

The offshore casinos SPINGRANNY & BONUS KONG have purchased the domain name bet90-casino.be to impersonate the legal bookmaker BET90.

Illegal casinos have more than one trick up their sleeve to trap players. The latest scam, uncovered by the Gambling Club editorial team, involves the legal bookmaker BET90 and the well-known illegal casinos SPINGRANNY and BONUS KONG.

BET90 Casino: an impersonation that inspires confidence

When searching for the legal bookmaker BET90 on your favorite search engine, you may have come across this site: BET90-casino.be 

An internationally recognized name in the bookmaking industry, a valid license from the Gaming Commission, betting shops dotted across the country, a reassuring national URL… enough to make you excited about discovering a new casino. But the joy is short-lived; BET90-casino.be is not the legitimate site it appears to be.

The legal bookmaker BET90 does not offer any casino services in Belgium

BET90 is indeed a legal bookmaker in Belgium. The company has been granted license number FA+ 126088 for the Bet90.be website. BET90 also holds several valid licenses to operate betting shops.

However, Bet90 only offers betting services strictly in accordance with the law through its betting shops. The company has never developed a casino section on its official website. 

Indeed, Belgian law is extremely strict regarding the separation of gambling offerings. An operator wishing to run casino games must hold an A+ or B+ license linked to a physical establishment located within the country.

During our research, we noticed that the Bet90.be website is currently unavailable, and several betting shops redirect directly to the Bet90.com website, which is unfortunately blocked in Belgium. 

An identity theft scheme orchestrated by SPINGRANNY and BONUS KONG

The network behind the illegal casinos SPINGRANNY and BONUS KONG registered the web address bet90-casino.be in September 2025 to deceive players. 

The presence of the country-code top-level domain immediately reassures players, who automatically associate these URLs with legal sites regulated by the Gaming Commission.

The various links on the page systematically redirect to the offshore casinos SPINGRANNY and BONUS KONG. 

There is no evidence that these casinos specifically targeted BET90 Belgium, but the coincidence is rather striking, and has certainly attracted many players to their platforms.

Warning signs revealing the scam 

Our analysis of the Bet90-casino website has revealed numerous blatant breaches of Belgian consumer protection laws. Caution is advised from the moment you open the webpage, as the business model of SPINGRANNY and BONUS KONG is based entirely on a breach of trust.

• A promise of a welcome bonus of €1,000 + 250 free spins, a practice strictly prohibited in Belgium.
• The site claims to hold an A+ license but does not provide the license number.
• Sports betting is offered alongside casino games, which contravenes the law on the separation of gaming offerings.
• The site states that it is restricted to players aged 18 and over, whereas the minimum age for accessing a casino in Belgium is 21.
