Joeri Impens, owner and managing director of Bingoal, has died unexpectedly. The Belgian family-run business announced his death on Thursday 27 August 2026, without disclosing the circumstances surrounding his passing.
A loss that directly affects Bingoal
Bingoal has announced with deep sadness the passing of Joeri Impens. Much more than just a business leader, he had played a central role within the family-run gambling company for several years.
Joeri Impens had carried on his father’s legacy and led Bingoal during a period marked by the company’s growth and expansion.
Bingoal describes him as an ambitious, pragmatic and dedicated leader. However, the company also emphasises his human side and his commitment to the people he worked with. He knew the company, its operations and its staff intimately and worked alongside his teams on a daily basis.
Over the years, Joeri Impens had also forged strong, trust-based relationships outside the company.
The company aims to preserve his legacy
In its announcement, Bingoal states that the values and entrepreneurial spirit developed under Joeri Impens’s leadership will be preserved.
Bingoal will remain a family-run business. The family legacy will be carried on in particular by Quentin, Joeri Impens’s son, who will continue the family tradition within the company.
