PepperMill Friends is changing lives in Belgium

Beyond its commercial activities, PepperMill Casino has developed an initiative called PepperMill Friends, designed to support local projects, charities and organisations committed to community development.
A vision that goes beyond mere financial support
PepperMill Casino explains that it created PepperMill Friends to put its commitment to contributing to the common good into practice.
The initiative is based on a simple idea: to support individuals, charities, organisations and local projects that play an active role in their communities. According to PepperMill Friends, change can only be sustainable when it is driven collectively. This is why the focus is on long-term collaborations rather than merely occasional financial support.
PepperMill Friends emphasises one point: brand visibility is not the primary objective of this initiative. Above all, the initiative seeks out projects that have a tangible impact on society. The areas supported are not limited to sport, although this plays a significant role. Education, health, wellbeing and various local initiatives are also among the sectors supported.
The Red Side Academy: a concrete example with KV Kortrijk
The partnership with KV Kortrijk is one of the most representative examples of the spirit of PepperMill Friends. Whilst PepperMill is the club’s main sponsor, the company emphasises that it is particularly committed to supporting the Red Side Academy.
Every week, this academy welcomes more than 400 children and teenagers free of charge. No registration fees are charged and no specific conditions are imposed. Every child is welcomed regardless of their background, in an environment where football goes hand in hand with learning about community life.
With SK Beveren: football promoting inclusion
Since 2024, PepperMill has also been collaborating with SK Beveren. This partnership has gradually evolved to the point where PepperMill Friends has become the club’s main sponsor. This collaboration has been accompanied by several social initiatives developed with local organisations.
Among these is the support provided to the Kinderkankerfonds, the Children’s Cancer Fund. Together with SK Beveren, PepperMill Friends took part in a visibility campaign by featuring the charity’s logo on the club’s shirts, in what is described as one of the largest awareness-raising initiatives ever undertaken by the fund.
In addition to this campaign, PepperMill Friends also supports SKB Iedereen, SK Beveren’s social programme dedicated to inclusion and equal opportunities in the region.
A donation of 5,000 euros to support invisible conditions
PepperMill Friends’ activities are not limited to sporting partnerships. Last year, the company announced a donation of 5,000 euros to De Warmste Week. This campaign was dedicated to supporting people facing invisible conditions, including mental health issues and addiction.
For PepperMill, this contribution is also part of its responsible gaming policy. As an online casino, the company explains that it regards the protection of vulnerable players as a priority. It states that its responsibility does not end when the experience on its platform concludes and wishes to play a broader role in initiatives that provide support to those in need.
A growing number of local projects
Over time, PepperMill Friends has expanded its network of partners in order to support a growing number of community-based projects, such as Een Hart voor Limburg, VZW [h]ARS and the Gemeenschapsproject Patro Maasmechelen.
Although their areas of focus differ, these initiatives share a common goal: to strengthen local communities and provide practical support to those affected.
