EuroMillions: a Belgian wins 111 million

A Belgian player has won €111,058,174 in the EuroMillions draw on Friday 7 August 2026. By matching all five main numbers and both Star numbers, they have claimed Belgium’s fourth jackpot of the year and the ninth-largest win ever recorded in the country.
A night worth 111 million euros for a Belgian player
The draw on Friday 7 August 2026 will go down in the history of EuroMillions in Belgium. Whilst the jackpot announced before the draw stood at around 111 million euros, a single player matched the combination required to win the top prize.
The prize amount totalled 111,058,174 euros. To claim this sum, the player had to match the five main numbers – 26, 29, 35, 38 and 47 – along with the two star numbers, 1 and 2.
Why is this EuroMillions jackpot so exceptional?
Beyond the €111 million won, it is above all the frequency of Belgian wins in 2026 that is attracting attention. The winner on 7 August is already the fourth Belgian player or group of players to win a EuroMillions jackpot since the start of the year.
The three jackpots preceding the one in August had already been substantial sums. On 30 January 2026, a prize pool of 123 million euros was won by a group of 21 friends.
A few months later, luck struck again in Belgium with an even more spectacular win. On 9 June, a Belgian player won exactly 174,984,088 euros. This win set a new national record for EuroMillions.
Barely a few weeks had passed before another jackpot was won in the country. On 3 July, a Belgian ticket won €80,220,498.
Then came the draw on 7 August and its €111,058,174.
The 111-million jackpot makes Belgian history
At 111,058,174 euros, the winner on 7 August did not break the national record set less than two months earlier. Nevertheless, they immediately joined the ranks of the biggest Belgian winners in the game’s history. This jackpot is the ninth-largest EuroMillions win ever recorded in Belgium.
How do you win the EuroMillions jackpot?
EuroMillions is organised in nine European countries: Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom.
Two draws are held each week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. To win the jackpot, a player must correctly select five numbers out of 50 and two ‘star’ numbers out of 12. The probability of selecting this complete combination is approximately one in 139,838,160.
