Already four EuroMillions jackpots in Belgium in 2026

Belgium is enjoying a particularly spectacular 2026 in the EuroMillions. Between 30 January and 7 August, four jackpots were won in the country.

Four jackpots in just over six months

A jackpot of €123 million in January. Nearly €175 million in June. Over €80 million in July. And now over €111 million in August.

Taken individually, each of these wins is already an exceptional event. Taken together over a period of just over six months, they form a particularly remarkable run for Belgium.

It all began with 21 friends

Belgium’s first jackpot of 2026 dates back to 30 January. A prize pool of over 123 million euros was won by a group of 21 friends. This win was already a major event and marked the start of a year that would quickly become exceptional for Belgian EuroMillions players.

On 9 June 2026, a Belgian player won exactly 174,984,088 euros. This amount became the largest EuroMillions win ever recorded in Belgium. The previous national record, set in October 2016, stood at 168 million euros. The win in June 2026 therefore broke a record that had stood for nearly ten years.

On 3 July 2026, a new ticket validated in Belgium claimed the top prize. This time, the amount totalled 80,220,498 euros.

111 million euros: Belgium’s fourth jackpot of 2026

The draw on 7 August brings the number of Belgian jackpots since the start of 2026 to four.

At €111,058,174, this latest win does not surpass the record set on 9 June, but it goes straight into the national history of EuroMillions. It ranks ninth amongst the biggest wins recorded in Belgium.

The sequence is striking: four jackpots have been won in Belgium between late January and early August.

Nine countries are vying for the same jackpot

Belgium’s performance is all the more remarkable given that EuroMillions is not limited to national borders. The game is organised across nine European countries: Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom.

Despite the four jackpots won in 2026 and the new national record set in June, Belgium has still not claimed the largest possible EuroMillions prize.

Is Belgium really luckier?

This run of wins might give the impression that Belgian players are currently enjoying a particular streak of good fortune. But the maths doesn’t work that way.

Each draw is independent. Jackpots already won by Belgian players do not increase the chances of another Belgian ticket winning the next one. The probability of selecting the full combination required to win the jackpot is approximately one in 139,838,160.

To win the top prize, you must correctly select five numbers from 50 and two stars from 12. Two draws are held each week, on Tuesdays and Fridays.
