These games dominate crypto casinos
The same games dominate the homepages of many cryptocurrency casinos. An analysis by Blask, covering 3,772 gaming lobbies across 1,820 brands and 36 geographical markets, reveals the dominance of Gates of Olympus 1000.
Gates of Olympus 1000 dominates cryptocurrency casinos
The results presented by Max Nozhka, a marketing specialist in the gambling industry, show a remarkable concentration around a handful of titles. According to Blask data shared by the industry professional, Gates of Olympus 1000 appears among the top ten games in 423 casino lobbies, more than any other title included in the study.
The phenomenon goes beyond the popularity of a single game at one casino. It involves a wide range of brands seeking to attract players with different offers while often highlighting the same games.
Big Bass Splash claims the most number-one positions
Regularly appearing among the top ten games does not necessarily mean occupying the number-one position.
On this second metric, Big Bass Splash, developed by Reel Kingdom, a subsidiary of Pragmatic Play, takes the lead with 94 first-place positions across the casino lobbies analysed.
This difference highlights two dimensions of a game’s visibility: its overall presence among featured selections and its ability to secure the most prominent position.
Aviator: an unusual game that establishes itself among the favourites
A third title attracts particular attention: Aviator. Unlike the traditional slot games appearing in the ranking, it is a crash game based on an increasing multiplier that the player must cash out before it stops.
According to the figures reported, Aviator is the only game of its kind included in the ranking.
It ranks seventh based on the total number of appearances among the top ten titles, featuring in 203 casino lobbies. However, its position becomes much more impressive when the analysis focuses solely on first place.
Aviator appears in the number-one position in 78 casino lobbies. This represents around 38% of the cases in which it appears among the top ten games.
Max Nozhka also highlights the scale of its distribution: Aviator is reportedly available through more than 6,000 operators and has around 77 million monthly active users, according to the figures he cites.
An earlier study of eight casinos had already revealed this trend
Blask’s findings build on an observation made a few months earlier by Max Nozhka. He had analysed the top ten games displayed in the lobbies of eight cryptocurrency casinos: Stake, BC.GAME, Roobet, Rainbet, Shuffle, Gamdom, Rollbit and MetaWin. The aim was to determine which titles appeared most frequently in the most visible positions.
Those results had already placed the Gates of Olympus series at the top, with 188 points and 12 appearances in the rankings analysed. Sweet Bonanza came in second, ahead of Le Series, Sugar Rush and Wanted.
The Blask study now draws on a much larger dataset, with 3,772 casino lobbies analysed. Gates of Olympus 1000 taking first place therefore reinforces Nozhka’s initial observation: certain games maintain significant visibility across a large number of brands.
Are game providers becoming more powerful than casinos?
Operators try to differentiate themselves through their identity, presentation and promotional offers. Yet their most prominently displayed game selections show many similarities.
For Max Nozhka, this situation could reflect a shift in player preferences. Certain titles may be starting to function as brands in their own right, with players searching for them independently of the casino offering them.
In other words, a player may choose a platform primarily because it offers a specific game rather than because of the reputation of the casino itself.
