BR1 Infinite: $1 to kill, $1 to respawn

The concept behind BR1 Infinite can be summed up in a few figures: pay to join a match, earn money by eliminating opponents, and lose your stake if you die. A post shared on X in early August 2026 brought the game massive exposure in France, even as its business model raises questions about its compatibility with French gambling regulations.

A video viewed 3.4 million times in twenty-four hours

On 7 August 2026, the X account FrenchRapUS posted a video showing BR1 Infinite in action. The caption accompanying the footage summarises the game’s financial promise through three particularly simple figures: $10 earned per hour of play, $1 won per elimination and $1 paid to respawn.

By the following day, the post had already reached 3.4 million views. This visibility exposed the game to a considerable audience.

To join the map, a player pays 1 USDC, a digital currency. Each opponent they eliminate then earns them 1 USDC. Servers are divided into different stake levels: there is a free mode, but the amounts can go up to 10 dollars for a respawn. Death has an immediate financial consequence. When a player is eliminated, they lose their entry fee as well as the loot they have accumulated during their session. To secure their winnings, they must reach an extraction point.

The business model does not rely solely on the sums staked by players. Bravo Ready also takes a cut of the winnings. According to the studio’s product page, this cut varies between 10 per cent and 25 per cent, depending on the digital token character held by the player.

Bravo Ready claims to have already paid out over $100,000 and recorded 150,000 pre-registrations.

The game features no age verification on entry, no identity checks, no betting limits, no loss limits and no warning messages.

BR1 Infinite is not an isolated project

To understand the logic behind BR1 Infinite, one must look beyond the game itself. The page dedicated to the Bravo Ready ecosystem features several products linked to real money, rewards or digital items.

The catalogue notably mentions Thrillzz, described by Bravo Ready as a mobile platform enabling players to compete against each other in games of skill to win cash prizes.

Another product mentioned is Slabz, which focuses on opening digital packs. Bravo Ready claims $8 million in revenue from this activity and highlights the enjoyment of opening packs and searching for rare items.

BR1 Infinite is therefore part of a wider portfolio. The studio presents it as its first real-money extraction shooter and states, on its own website, that BR1 demonstrates that skill can earn money.

A studio backed by several well-known investors

On 11 July 2022, Bravo Ready announced a $3 million seed funding round. Among the investors named were Solana Ventures, 6th Man Ventures, Sino Global Capital, Shima Capital and Justin Kan, co-founder of Twitch.

Press releases from Bravo Ready published since 2022 list Evan Ryer as the studio’s CEO and co-founder.

BR1 Infinite may be illegal in Belgium

The situation regarding BR1 Infinite raises a serious issue in Belgium. The Belgian Act of 7 May 1999 defines a game of chance as any activity in which a stake is placed, with the possibility of a loss or a win, provided that chance plays a part, even if only incidentally. The operation of such a game is prohibited without a prior licence issued by the Gaming Commission.

Based on the described operation of BR1 Infinite, several of these criteria appear likely to be met: the player stakes money to respawn, may lose their stake and may make a financial gain by eliminating their opponents.

The law also prohibits participating in an unauthorised game, facilitating its operation, advertising it or recruiting players when one is aware that it is unauthorised.
