EuroMillions: 2 Belgians win nearly €200,000

Two Belgian players won substantial prizes in the EuroMillions in two consecutive draws, on 28 August and 1 September 2026. Although they did not win the jackpot, they each matched all five numbers and one star.
Two draws, two Belgian winners
Belgium produced two lucky EuroMillions winners within the space of a few days. The first was a winner in the draw on Friday 28 August 2026. Their combination included the five winning numbers and one of the two stars.
This result earned him €109,518.60. Six other European players achieved the same result and won the same amount.
A few days later, on Tuesday 1 September, another Belgian player achieved exactly the same feat. With five correct numbers and one star, he won €88,442.50, as did six other players across Europe.
In total, the two Belgian players therefore won €197,961.10 between them in just two draws.
2026 is already proving to be an exceptional year for the Belgians
These two wins come on top of a particularly successful year for Belgian players in EuroMillions. Between 30 January and 7 August 2026, four jackpots have already been won in Belgium: over 123 million euros won by a group of 21 friends in January, €174,984,088 in June — a national record —, €80,220,498 in July and €111,058,174 in August. A remarkable run of big wins, even though each draw is independent and previous wins in no way increase the chances of hitting the next jackpot.
What were the winning numbers?
In the draw on Friday 28 August, the five numbers drawn were 7, 14, 28, 42 and 45. The two star numbers were 6 and 9.
On Tuesday 1 September, the winning combination was completely different: 2, 10, 23, 37 and 47, accompanied by the stars 3 and 5.
The jackpot remains unclaimed after two draws
Despite these substantial prizes, no player won the jackpot in either of these two draws.
Following the draw on 28 August, with the top prize remaining unclaimed, €78 million was rolled over to the draw on Tuesday 1 September.
This latest attempt also failed to produce a winner. The jackpot has therefore risen further to €89 million, to be drawn on Friday 4 September 2026.
